Nick is an associate at Johnson and Pekny who joined the team as an attorney after clerking for the firm during his time at Creighton. Nick’s primary practice areas include criminal defense and family law matters. Nick is an advocate for his criminal clients, where he expects each person who walks into Court to be treated with respect and fairness.
In his family law practice, Nick represents those going through divorce or navigating custody disputes. Nick is the oldest of three siblings and understands the importance of family.
Before entering law school, Nick attended Indiana University. During that time, he planned on going into business until taking an elective law class which served as the first step into his passion for the legal field. Nick would go on to receive a degree in Law and Public Policy from Indiana in 2019. Nick then attended Creighton University’s School of law, where he earned his J.D. in 2022.
Outside of practicing law, Nick can be found emphatically rooting for the Indiana Hoosiers or enjoying a nice day at Charles Schwab field watching baseball. Since moving to Nebraska, Nick has enjoyed going on float trips down the Platte river and eating the occasional Runza.
